Photoshop Photo Retouching Practice
Shh... I'm putting together a photo book for my mom for Christmas. I love this shot of us in front of Notre Dame, but there were some things that had to be fixed. The unruly hair fly aways, reflection of the camera in the sunglasses, and my mom's eyes squinted closed all required small tweaks using the Spot Healing Brush and Patch Tool.
A little practice using the Pen tool and gradients to recreate elements in Illustrator. The originals are on the left and my recreated versions are on the right.
Digital Painting with Photoshop
A little practice using different brushes in Photoshop to recreate a photograph. The original is on the left and my "painted" version is on the right.
Self Watering Window Boxes
I needed a creative solution to take care of my plants while I was out of town for a few weeks. So, I created self watering window boxes. Check out my Instructables for how to make them for yourself: http://www.instructables.com/id/Self-Watering-Window-Boxes/
Chester's Cheesy Chase
Chester's Cheesy Chase was a virtual world developed for the Building Virtual Worlds course at Carnegie Mellon University. For this project I designed a video intro to tell the story of Chester, a curious mouse on the search for cheese.
The Final Video
Our final project for the Visual Story course at Carnegie Mellon University was to do a music video. My team had a lot of fun with this one. It was particularly fun gift wrapping an entire room of Tom's apartment for our band shots. Enjoy!
Bedroom in Arles
I modeled Van Gogh's Bedroom in Arles for my Maya 3D Class. This was for our texturing assignment. I thought it would be a fun challenge to capture Van Gogh's impasto painting style with bump maps.
